I also found a similiar site regarding this historical warrior princess on Wikipedia.org, but not much is mentioned about her account. Some speculate that she indeed existed, but others still speculate that her existence cannot be proven based on the stories being told by the older generation. But who’s to say?
That probably might explain my sometimes feisty nature LOL!

Was it considered disrespectful? I read on wikipedia, that it was considered "prostitution" when women wore togas. Is this true?

For those who don’t know, she’s the goddess of agriculture, the hearth, and motherly love.
So here’s my idea so far:
Biegey-tan floor-length one-shoulder dress (the way the shoulder will work is that the fabric from that side (probably the rightside) from front and back will be sewn together where a strap/whatever would be, extra fabric will hang down (http://i1.iofferphoto.com/img/item/398/990/81/bda4_1.JPG kind of like the sleeve in the picture on the right here, but with shorter free fabric, and with some in the front as well as the back))
On top of that, a shorter, darker (like brown) dress. Again one shoulder (but this time the other shoulder, so the two dresses will cross over each other, one on one shoulder, the other on the other, same drapey fabric and everything), it’ll be like mid-thigh to knee length, but it will be over the longer dress so it won’t really matter, and slit a little (so I can move! I have to wear this.) this one dropwaisted (kind of like the waist in that same picture on the right, but it will be flopping over more so that the rope (it’ll be tied with a thin rope-thing) won’t show except the hanging-down ends.)
A swag of the lighter fabric will be attached between both shoulders and hang down in the back on top of everything; hopefully the two dresses underneath will be low enough in the back that some of the back will be bare.
Hair (which is brown and really really curly) in a bun-ish/french-twist/updo type thing (like the far right lady in this picture: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f3/ChitonAndHimation.gif but with more curls hanging down) and with a ribbon going around like a headband two or three times.
Ok, so that’s more than you ever wanted to know! But what do you think of it? I will be making all of this myself out of just cotton cloth or something, nothing fancy.
:] thanks!
