Okay, so I have a Halloween party in a couple of days, and I was thinking of dressing like Athena. For the most part, I know what she looks like so it’s just a matter of making the costume. I need step by step instructions or something (maybe a video?) about how to make the dress. Would it look bad if it was made out of a sheet? Any other tips are welcome as well(: Thank you!

Ok, so, this year for Halloween, I am being Cleopatra. This is my costume:

Besides doing the whole black eye-liner thing, I’m torn as to what other make-up to put on/wear.
For an eyeshadow, should I use a black one so my lids are black too, or, should I use a color? If a color, what would look the best with the costume & on me (I have blue eyes, so, I’m not about to wear blue eye-shadow .)
What about lip-stick? What would look better: a neutral shade, a brown-ish shade, or a bright red?
I know it’s kind of early to be thinking about it, but, I love Halloween so much that I can’t help it (plus, I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so, I always worry about it looking "just right")

Note: I’m going for more of a "sexy" look, than a "scary" one. I’m wearing it for a Halloween party that I’m going to with my boyfriend (he’s dressing up as Marc Anthony)

For Halloween, I’m thinking of wearing something like toga (white dress/ cloth) and sandals that gladiators wear. Am I a Roman woman or Greek woman or WHAT? Because I don’t know what kind of person this is, I still cannot tell my friends what I’m going to be for halloween. Help me please!

so…this Halloween I want to go all out. I’m going to dress up as the Greek Goddess Athena. I’m going to have a shield and a helmet, but the part that might be crazy is I’m paying for my friends mom to make me this white dress that I designed, and that might be a lot…
I’m only going to a dance and maybe a party or trick or treating.
I guess my question is, is it dumb of me to spend a lot and go to so much work for a costume I’m really only using 2 days?
I’m super excited for Halloween this year. I haven’t done anything since 6th grade and it used to be my favorite holiday. I kind of just want something to look forward to…
Should I just get a cheep costume or is it ok to splurge and get a fancy costume?
I feel kind of guilty and super excited at the same time. I really want to, but maybe I just went overboard…
What do you think?

Okay, so I’m Demeter and have to give a speech tomorrow.
I have to have things that symbolize her and somewhat dress like her.
But no body has over done it, so I just need something simple. (not all fancy, halloween costume big..
Ex/ somebody just put a brown blanket over them to be a "dead bear"..and someone wore a dress with animals on it.
no dresses for me..=]
So..As like props or symbols I am taking wheat and a torch since that’s what she carrys.
U can’t go anywhere to a store or anything so it has to be from home =)
I was thinking just to wear like a brown shirt or pink/navy blue/etc..colors that represent her..?
give me some other ideas please..

Greek Goddess Demeter Speech, costume help, please open?

K well I’m a sophomore in high school. I wanna be a greek goddess and my costume is a white dress, with goddess Accessories and stuff. I wanna wear it to school but i dont wanna be the only one dressed up all fancy lol. see, halloween is on a saturday, but could i wear the costume on friday at school without ppl looking at me weird?
